Cleaning your enema kit or bulb is easy with our new Enema Kit Cleaner!
This is the most common question we receive at Happy Bum Co. I know it seems very difficult considering all of the little parts and drying out the tube, so I thought I would show you our top tips for you to refer to, easily!
- Rinse immediately after use with warm water!
- Rinse or soak with Happy Bum Clean
- Let your bag thoroughly dry
To avoid mold, ensure all parts are detached from the tube so it can hang over a towel rack and dry out completely. To get all of the little water particles out, you can shake the tube or blow through the tube. For people using their enema kit daily, mould is less likely to grow as you are using it so often and not letting it sit for too long.
If you are concerned about mould, you can soak your kit and tube with happy Bum Clean in a tub overnight to ensure a deep clean.
Every couple of weeks we suggest letting your tips soak as well to avoid any contamination or bacteria growth.
Other options for cleaning include Hydrogen Peroxide or essential oils of Tea Tree or Eucalyptus. It is totally up to you to decide, however let's try not over complicate things, that's why we've created our simple cleaning product.
