How Coffee Enemas Gave Me Peace Of Mind After My Cancer Diagnosis

At the end of 2020 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which began my journey of treatments. The first time I visited the oncologist, I said, "do what you will, I know nothing, and I don't know anyone close to me who has had cancer."

Throughout this journey however, I learned the importance of taking full responsibility for my health - asking questions, doing research, and not just following advice blindly. In fact, holistic treatments played a significant role, making my cancer journey surprisingly positive.

Not long after I was diagnosed, I consulted a gut health specialist in Melbourne. I began my gut protocols prior to starting chemo as a way of supporting my immune system. Remarkably, my blood work had improved significantly even after commencing an intense chemo regime. This experience only emphasised the critical role of gut health in overall well-being.

My gut health journey had me understanding that cancer, or any disease, needs the right environment to grow in. This fact gave me back my power to lead my own healing journey.

I had always been a healthy person, but after reflecting on my health, I realised that post-pregnancy, I never fully regained regular bowel movements and this ongoing issue likely contributed to my cancer diagnosis and was an indicator to dis-ease in my body.

Learning about toxins, their reabsorption, and the importance of detoxification made me very aware of my bowel movements and the internal environment I had been creating.

I recognised that it doesn't matter how hard I'm trying to stay hydrated, and do all the right things, I just felt that my bowel movements were still sluggish. Especially considering that the breast cancer treatment had sent me into early menopause. It's like your whole body dries up, it's not fun!

I was introduced to coffee enemas in 2024. Not only have they helped me stay regular and support detoxification, they've also given me a lot of peace of mind, because I know that I'm clearing out my system.

Initially, I used them daily, and now I do them every couple of days, finding them essential for my well-being.

It's actually the one wellness tool that I wouldn't go without.

I love telling people about them too, because it doesn't matter how many vitamins and minerals you're putting into your body. If you are not having regular and healthy bowel movements, toxins are getting reabsorbed and everything's not moving, which is only fostering an environment that disease and cancer can thrive in.

Many people avoid discussing bowel movements, yet changes in bowel habits are vital indicators of health. Cancer was a wake-up call to design the life I wanted, rather than adhering to others' expectations. I am now cancer free and I've chosen not to take long-term breast cancer medication due to its impact on mental health. Coffee enemas give me peace of mind, knowing I'm actively maintaining my health.

Yes, the medical system treats cancer, but we must care for our body's environment. Understanding gut health, bowel movements, and hydration is crucial. For me, coffee enemas have become a comfortable and essential tool in my health regimen.
